GeoUtrecht 2020 - changed into a free of charge online conference
As you are aware of, GeoUtrecht 2020 'EARTH, Treasures, Threats, Transitions!' can unfortunately not be held as a face-to-face meeting on 24–26th of August 2020 as per government regulations. Therefore, we have now decided to change the meeting into a free of charge online conference, with a slightly reduced scope.
There will be two types of presentations, plenary keynote talks (40 min) and session talks (20 min), all to be presented live (ie no pre-recordings). There will be no difference made between talks and posters. Allocated time will be distributed equally between live presentation and discussion. Further details on the new format and instructions can be found on our conference website https://www.geoutrecht2020.org.
Submit your abstract now! As the number of session topics have changed, the Call for Abstracts is re-opened now (abstract submission deadline: 26th of June).
Register now, it's free! Note that the meeting will still require registration for access to the online system used (MS Teams). No fee or payment will be required to participate. However, and in case you are not a member of DGGV or KNGMG yet, we would encourage you to join one of the sponsoring organisations as a courtesy to allow for recovery of some of the costs.

Join KNGMG: www.kngmg.nl/aanmelden/
Authors are required to upload abstracts and later presentation materials in advance of the meeting. Contributors will be offered the option to permanently archive these materials (incl. DOI) by the DGGV after the conference.
In summary, we are very happy to be able to offer you this alternative opportunity which will allow you to meet up with a large geoscience community as usual. We are certainly looking forward to make this new way of meeting a success together with your help and your participation.
