Geosciences Beyond Boundaries – Research, Society, Future 

Welcome to GeoBerlin 2023 – the Meeting of the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR) on the occasion of its 150th anniversary together with the Annual Conference of the Deutsche Geologische Gesellschaft – Geologische Vereinigung (DGGV – The German Geological Society) to be held 3 – 8 September 2023 at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany.

This annual meeting has a special significance as it marks the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Prussian Geological Survey, the latter being the predecessor institution of today’s BGR, and the 175th anniversary of the founding of the DGGV.

We are very much looking forward to celebrating this special anniversary together with you in September 2023!

Submission of abstracts now open!

Dear colleagues,

We cordially invite you to submit abstracts for the joint annual conference of BGR and DGGV „Geosciences Beyond Boundaries – Research, Society, Future“, which will take place from 3 – 8 September 2023 in Berlin. Please find the programme here.

Abstracts can be submitted until May 3, 2023. Please use the conference website for this purpose.
