The 6th IAS International Summer School of Sedimentology will take place in Alghero, Sardinia, Italy from 26 September to 1 October 2016.
The Summer School will comprise 3 days of course work and 3 days of field studies, focused on the theme of “Sediments: from Land to Sea – Archives of global change – Mesozoic and Cenozoic”. Lectures will be provided by world-class specialists (a.o. V. Pascucci, G. della Porta, D. Bosence, W. Nemec, M. Ghinassi, H. Weissert). Participation is limited to IAS Student Members only.
Applications for participation have to be submitted by email to the IAS Office (mailto:ias-office@ugent.be). Application deadline is 25 April 2016.
