175th DGGV Anniversary and 150th PGLA (BGR) Anniversary
Berlin – 3. – 8. September 2023
Welcome to GeoBerlin 2023 – the Meeting o f the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR) on the occasion of its 150th anniversary together with the Annual Conference of the Deutsche Geologische Gesellschaft – Geologische Vereinigung (DGGV – The German Geological Society) to be held 3 – 8 September 2023 at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany.
This annual meeting has a special significance as it marks the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Prussian Geological Survey, the latter being the predecessor institution of today’s BGR, and the 175th anniversary of the founding of the DGGV.
We are very much looking forward to celebrating this special anniversary together with you in September 2023!
