16th International Conference on Thermochronology – Palais Salfeldt – Quedlinburg (Germany)
The bi-annual International Conference on Thermochronology grew out of the international workshops on Fission Track Thermochronology, which were held since 1978, and the European workshops on Thermochronology. It is the only forum where thermochronologists can discuss fundamental and methodological issues related to their science and its future. The meeting will focus on theory and application of fission track, noble gas, and other innovative low-temperature thermochronology approaches. The purpose of the conference is to bring together the active international thermochronology community to exchange ideas on the latest developments and discuss important aspects of thermochronology and its modern applications in the Earth System.
