We welcome you to the university town of Giessen, which is located in the heart of Europe and offers a great diversity of landscapes.
The conference is organized by the German Association on Geomorphology (AKG – Deutscher Arbeitskreis für Geomorphologie) and the German Quaternary Association (DEUQUA – Deutsche Quartärvereinigung), and will be hosted by the Department of Geography, Justus-Liebig-University Giessen.
For the first time, the conference is arranged as a joint conference of AKG and DEUQUA, bringing together the closely related disciplines of Quaternary Sciences and Geomorphology, both dealing with the earth surface, its processes and related sediments.
